Exhibition at Marski Gallery at Marski by Scandic
Helsinki Photo Festival kicks off the year with an exclusive photo exhibition from January 23-March 9, 2022 at Hotel Marski by Scandic in the heart of Helsinki. Finland’s biggest annual photography event presents a selection of best curated images of emerging Nordic and international photographers.
Selected artists are part of the festival’s Nordic Village Print Program supporting photographers from Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Norway and the Baltic States. The Nordic Village is a talent platform and received a subsidy from Nordic Culture Fund in 2021 to initiate this project.

Limited edition prints with works by Icelandic photographers Maria Kjartans and Ómar Sverrisson, Norwegian photographer Stig Marlon Weston, Swedish photographers Florence Montmare, Carl-Mikael Ström and Nadja Hallström, Danish photographers Birgitta Steen, Lisa Pram, Anne Lass and Marie Bentzon, and Finnish photographers Sari Soininen, Svante Gullichsen and Tomas Olsen.
In addition, the limited edition program includes a number of selected international photographers such as celebrated award-winning photographers Jooeun Baae (Korea), Dilla Djalil-Daniel (Indonesia), Charlotte Marien (Belgium), Tom Price (United Kingdom) and Oskar Alvarado (Spain).
All prints are available for sale and the edition is limited. Also available in large size framed (DIN A0) and unframed upon request. Each work is signed and numbered with a unique Helphoto Editions label that is supplied separately upon purchase of an artwork. Every photograph is printed with archival pigment inks on fine art paper, housed in a solid oak frame with passe-partout and protected with museum-grade glass. All works can be purchased through festival’s web-shop.

Marski Gallery by Scandic Hotel is located one floor below the reception in Mannerheimintie 10, 00100 Helsinki downtown and can be visited from 9 am – 9 pm.
Helsinki Photo Festival is a non-profit association created to attract interest and disseminate information on photography and visual culture in Finland and abroad.
